BIG SHOW IN NEW YORK CLOSES WITH TALKS AND VISITS

Post by bitheerani319 »

On Wednesday, January 15th, I want to share with you who are following our participation in the largest Retail Fair, the Big Show, everything I saw on Tuesday and Wednesday. The days here have been very intense, so I didn't have enough time to report on the two days separately. Anyway, what matters is that I still want to let you, there in Brazil, know everything I'm seeing, learning and learning here!

On Tuesday, January 13, I had the opportunity to attend the talk “The New Digital Divide,” with the president of Game Stop Corporation, an online game store, Tony Bartel. He discussed buy saudi arabia number opportunities to harness the power of digital and ingrain it into the DNA of your organizations to further improve the customer experience and, in turn, your bottom line. He emphasized that everyone loves games and knows everything about them. He also talked about the internal work of companies, which is necessary to create an environment that has to do with the business and a passionate team.

In this same lecture, I received a lot of information about Design and Advertising. I highlight some topics:

– It is always necessary to analyze the evolution of technology and consumer behavior to add value to the product;

– Design and technology go hand in hand;

– We must create personalized experiences, not just create websites and use social networks;

– The interesting thing is to always simplify and not create what is not necessary. Less is more!

– Impatience is very high when people are browsing on desktop or mobile. Navigation must be optimized, through time, design, etc.;

– 70% of newspaper reading is being done online;

– The client, the designer and the programmers must work together;

– The Designer must seek to understand the consumer and the client’s business;

– Expand your business to the web, create a website and equip it so that your store staff can use it too;

On Tuesday, we visited the Fair a few times and there were a lot of things that caught my attention! Check out some of them:

– Mapping of hot and cold locations, shelf control, virtualization of things;

– Equipment integration (telephone, internet, router);

– Heat map via Wifi and Bluetooth;

– Fashion Smart Bracelets and wearable technology;

– Use of tablet for more information;

– Interaction with totems;

– Case for card integration;

– Virtual catalog;

– Interactive mirror (for changing rooms), with 360º angle, color change, comparison.
