For example, if a user donates $50 and uses Stripe as their payment method, you will only receive $48.55 in your account. This is because Stripe collects 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
Fortunately, Charitable has a payment extension that allows users to cover payment processing fees and collect the full donation amount.
To overcome payment processing fees, visit the “Charitable” add-ons page from your WordPress dashboard and install the “Charitable Fee Relief” extension.
After that, you need to go to the Charitable settings page and switch to the “Extensions” tab.
From here, select the “Checkbox opt-in, selected by default” option as your tax exemption method. This will add a checked box to your donation form for fee recovery.
If the user does not want to pay the processing fee, he/she must uncheck this box.
