Created in 2017 by journalist Renata Rizzi, Utopiar is a sustainable and socially impactful fashion brand, focused on the fight to end domestic violence.


The business helps generate income for women who are victims of violence through sewing: the entrepreneur partners with non-governmental organizations that refer women from shelters and women's advocacy centers to participate in workshops. In this way, these women learn dyeing, sewing and embroidery techniques with the aim of producing handmade pieces. Finally, they are paid according to the production and complexity of the design.




Panties


Duda and Emily are two Brazilian entrepreneurs who founded Pantys , a brand of absorbent panties that is revolutionizing the way women deal with their menstrual cycle.


They are an example of successful female entrepreneurship, and their story inspires other women to follow their dreams and create businesses that serve the needs of women.

The idea for Pantys came about when Duda was living in England and used absorbent panties for the first time. She was impressed by the practicality and convenience of the product, and thought about bringing this new product to Brazil.

Upon returning to the country, she shared her idea with Emily, who was also interested in the subject. Together, they researched, developed and tested different models of absorbent panties until they arrived at the final product.

Created by Candida, the brand was born in 2002 and has been consolidating itself year after year, contributing to the local market in Salvador.


The Bahian woman's first inspiration began at home. Candida spent her childhood watching her grandmother among threads and needles.

When she was still a teenager, she tried her hand at the sewing machine to create her first bag. In an attempt to break the mold of the school uniform, she expressed her creativity in a bag made of scarves.

The first creation became a success when her colleagues and teachers asked: “Can you make one like it for me?” Candida accepted her first orders and never stopped.

Today, Candida Specch is sold online throughout Brazil and participates in fairs and events in Salvador and São Paulo.

Born in Itinga, in the north of Minas Gerais, Sabrina Nunes (37 years old) has the largest e-commerce for semi-jewelry in Brazil. She started by investing R$50 reais in raw materials for costume jewelry and selling the pieces through the Elo7 platform. According to the founder of Francisca Jóias , she started by investing R$300 and sold R$3 thousand. Thus, with the profit, she developed the brand's own online store. Today, Sabrina works with more than 600 resellers and in 2019, the revenue was more than R$8 million, an increase of 30% compared to the previous year, with more than 18 thousand products sold in just 12 months.

Sallve was created with the idea of ​​offering quality products at fair prices, something that was unusual in the beauty market at the time . The company stood out for its transparency regarding the ingredients used in its products and its concern for sustainability.


Julia and Marcia met in pharmacy school and, years later, decided to start a business together. Both had experience in the beauty market, but they felt there was a lack of products that met the needs of Brazilian consumers. With this in mind, they decided to create their own brand.
