The collection was impressive. I especially appreciated being allowed to select materials from among National Vanguard's hundreds of titles. After years of frustration in trying to locate and order materials through bookstores, I was finally able to examine a large current selection of materials that interest me. I selected about a dozen tapes with lectures by Dr. Pierce; in addition, Scott gave me a few tapes by Kevin Strom. Over the following weeks I listened to all of them and found some to be dated as far back as 1976, but never-the-less very well done and surprisingly relevant. However, some tapes were recent and gave an excellent picture of National Alliance philosophy.

Scott recommended White Power by George Lincoln Rockwell. Mrs. Pierce came to visit while I was selecting books, and encouraged me to stay in the area longer and get to know them better. I told her I wanted to very much, but had other obligations. Mrs. Pierce, like Dr. Pierce, impressed me as being very rationally oriented. She is an engineer by profession. Earlier I had spoken to Scott, and he mentioned that his education is in the classics. I spoke somewhat about my own interests, particularly Solzhenitsyn, Salvador Dali, illusion, totalitarianism, and mysticism. He was clearly interested to hear that Hitler was viewed by many as a mystic.
He noted that Dr. Pierce, a physicist, has little interest in mysticism, nor does his wife Susan. I believe he wants to distance himself from those whom he considers irresponsible that might be drawn to a group like his. Susan suggested that I might be allowed to get a National Alliance membership handbook, but I would need to become a member to do so. Finally, she said perhaps they would let me have the book if Dr. Pierce gave permission. He did, and even signed the book with "revolutionary regards". Before leaving, I asked Dr. Pierce for his forecast of America's future. He said the country is in the process of disintegration and will be ready for a White revolution in about ten to fifteen years, from 1994.
