The Elas em Foco program, created by the ACIL Women's Entrepreneur Council and aimed at promoting the work of Limeira's businesswomen, welcomes entrepreneur, personal stylist, and columnist Karina Penteado for its latest episode. Hosted by Rosi Luck, ACIL's 2nd Vice President and CME Superintendent, the program is available on the Association's YouTube channel and Instagram.
During the interview, Karina talks about her passion for caring for women's beauty and how this work relates to women's self-esteem: "Beauty is an important aspect of a woman's self-esteem. Knowing how to take care of shop yourself, how to style your hair, how to use makeup and clothes is essential for us to feel good. When you take care of yourself, you feel powerful, in control of your own life . And this is reflected in everything, including your work," she explains.
The owner of Malka Exclusive shares her professional journey, as a personal stylist: "I started in healthcare, with degrees in aesthetics and physiotherapy. I worked in dermatofunctional therapy and then fell in love with the fashion world. I trained as a personal stylist and haven't looked back since," she adds.
When discussing her work in fashion, Karina emphasizes the importance of women rediscovering themselves and feeling good about themselves: "It's much more than just dressing up. It's about restoring a woman's self-esteem. It's about reclaiming who she is and who she wants to be. It's a much deeper endeavor than it seems," she concludes.
