Something that has been on my mind a lot lately

Post by zihadhosenjm55 »

Something that has been on my mind a lot lately is the prices and rates of our services.

And these days in Colombia the cost of living has risen at a rate we ha vietnam email address ve never seen before. I suppose something similar is happening in several other countries.

Now, if the cost of living is going up, why not raise our rates? And not just raise them, but raise them at least at the same rate and proportion as the cost of living. Because, in addition, if we increase the quality of our services, we have more experience, and that should be reflected in our rates.

We often hear people complain about inflation, but we often don't realize that at the same time, we should also raise our prices to have better service and a better quality of life. How do we avoid being mediocre when it comes to charging?

It is important that we have a prosperity mentality so as not to demonize money and not to try to be the cheapest on the market. The idea is that you are hired for being the best and not for being the cheapest.

Clients who hire you for cheap are the first ones who will leave when they find someone who charges less than you. And, believe me, you don't want to have those clients. Because, besides, they are the ones who annoy you the most, hahaha. It's like a law of life.

I feel that in many of our countries it is seen as bad to have or earn money. When someone has money we think it is ill-gotten and we do not take it off as a drug dealer or as a prepaid. I understand why we became like this, but it is time to change it!

Let's stop feeling envious of those who have money, or those who earn it "easily" (as long as it's legal, obviously). Let's think about how they did it and learn from them. We can even ask them for advice. I know firsthand that those who have achieved such triumphs are usually very generous with their knowledge, because they also know that the better things are for all of us, the better things will be for them too.

I want us all to earn more. Experience, happiness and yes, money! Let's make money, dammit.

If my advice makes your life better, you will surely hire me again. So let's not be envious of other people's success.

Another reason why it is good to charge well is because it is essential that we have different alternatives to cover cases in which there is a failure. And many times that is solved with money. Simple.

Imagine being in a consultancy and my internet connection goes down due to non-payment. How embarrassing! Or if the service failed (because that happens), I should have alternatives, like sharing my cell phone's internet. But if I don't do it because I'm thinking about how much it costs me... I'm going to leave a terrible impression on my clients.

Let's not be stingy!

Just like having a good preparation to offer a good service. You have to study, prepare. I was one of those who preferred to learn on my own, with YouTube tutorials or podcasts. But since I started investing in myself, in my knowledge and preparation, my sales skyrocketed.

That's why I'm happy now paying for courses, buying books, asking for advice.

In short, you have to be competitive in terms of good service. And let's not forget lifestyle.

Let's learn to charge what is fair, reasonable, and in line with the costs of living.
