There are many differences between Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 , such as the metrics being presented differently on each platform.

Both UA and GA4 follow different models. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to GA4 facts that will be your main allies in the adaptation and transition between platforms. They are:

GA4 is not as easy to implement as Universal Analytics.
Planning and setting up GA4 can take a lot longer than UA. While the old platform had some code number of philippines more complicated setups, there’s nothing like the new one.

Everything is an event
While in Universal Analytics you need five to 15 actions on your website configured to count as an “event,” in GA4 everything is an event. Page view, first visit, newsletter signup, click, and anything worth measuring remotely is an event.

Larger companies will be able to leverage tools to bring in data from other sources (e.g. using contact management software) and combine the data to get a complete view rather than the UA web layout.

You will need to level up your analyst skills
Google has an analytics product with similar premises to Adobe Analytics, a complex tool that is not suitable for inexperienced users. To do this, you can take a course on setting up and managing GA4 or hire a resource to handle this for you.
